چکیده

The game of darts has enjoyed great growth over the past decade with perception moving from that a pub to is regularly scheduled on prime-time television in many countries such as United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, and Australia, among others. It involves strategic interactions between two players, but date, literature ignored these interactions. In this paper, we formulate solve dynamic zero-sum (ZSG), best our knowledge, are first do so. We also estimate individual skill models using novel data set based matches were played by top 16 professional players world during 2019 season. Using fitted ZSG problem formulation, quantify importance playing strategically—that is, taking into account score strategy one’s opponent—when computing an optimal strategy. For professionals, find strategically results increase win probability just 0.2%–0.6% single leg much 2.2% best-of-31-legs match. Summary Contribution: Dynamic games (ZSGs) considerable interest, they arise applications including sports, management communication networks, interdiction games, heads-up poker—an important topic modern artificial intelligence. study consider darts, which growing increasingly popular around today. it iteratively formulating each player’s best-response stochastic shortest-path (SSP) problem. then SSPs standard programming methods. solving ZSG, able accurately professionals strategically.

Aging theories and the zero-sum game.

For generations programmed mammal aging was widely thought to be theoretically impossible. However, new evolutionary mechanics concepts have led to renewed interest in programmed aging resulting in a schism between programmed and non-programmed proponents. This article argues that this lack of consensus is damaging medical research and therefore steps should be taken to pro-actively resolve the...

Stochastic Recursive Zero-Sum Differential Game and Mixed Zero-Sum Differential Game Problem

Under the notable Issacs’s condition on the Hamiltonian, the existence results of a saddle point are obtained for the stochastic recursive zero-sum differential game and mixed differential game problem, that is, the agents can also decide the optimal stopping time. Themain tools are backward stochastic differential equations BSDEs and double-barrier reflected BSDEs. As the motivation and applic...

Feedback Zero-Sum Linear Quadratic Dynamic Game for Descriptor System

In this paper we present a Nash equilibrium problem of linear quadratic zero-sum dynamic games for descriptor system. We assume that the players give a linear feedback to the game. For the game with finite planning horizon we derive a differential Riccati type equation. For the game with infinite planning horizon we consider an algebraic Riccati type equation. The connection of the game solutio...

Multiple attribute decision making with triangular intuitionistic fuzzy numbers based on zero-sum game approach

For many decision problems with uncertainty, triangular intuitionistic fuzzy number is a useful tool in expressing ill-known quantities. This paper develops a novel decision method based on zero-sum game for multiple attribute decision making problems where the attribute values take the form of triangular intuitionistic fuzzy numbers and the attribute weights are unknown. First, a new value ind...

Evaluation of Economy in a Zero-sum Perfect Information Game

A zero-sum perfect information game is one where every player knows all the moves. Chess is a good example where the object is to checkmate or capture the enemy king. One important feature of checkmates, especially in chess problem composition, is economy. This paper proposes a computational function to evaluate the economy of checkmate configurations on the chessboard. Several experiments were...
